Stadium Fare began in 2013 by a group of volunteers passionate about Tacoma and the historic Stadium District. The Fare, which is the brainchild of Coldwell Banker Bain’s Ethan Wing, was originally based on a Brooklyn, New York event Smorgasburg. Today it is known as Tacoma’s specialty food and fine arts market. The Fare will be held the last two Saturday’s of July, August, and September in 2014. Hours are 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. It takes place in the parking lot of the First Presbyterian Church, across from Wright Park, on the corner of South 2nd and South G. Street.
The Fare offers great local food, vintage and artistic wares, and entertainment. The Fare organizers have made an effort to make it a truly unique experience providing a wide range of different vendors and entertainers that offer handcrafted and unique products.
